DarkUFO Character Cup Prelim Tourney- Round 2, Matchups 1 & 2 (*Closed*)

Congratulations to both Aaron Littleton and Rachel Carlson. They both earned a spot in the second round, which begins right now!

Now that we've weeded through some favorite minor characters, we must go through them again, refining our field of candidates further still! And I can assure you, my non-virtual hat has drawn up some very intriguing matchups, some of which are certain to spark dialogue and maybe even break a few hearts. I know I got mad at the hat for at least 2 of the matchups, which we'll be seeing soon enough.

Now then, let's get started. Round 2 opens up with a diverse set of opponents. We've got 2 flashbacks characters, a Lostie and an Other. The winner here will move on to the Prelim Finals, where they'll duke it out for one of those four open slots in the main tourney.

Diane Janssen
Status: Flashback Character (Alive?)
Diane worked as a waitress for many years in Iowa and is the mother of Kate. When Kate murdered Diane’s husband, Diane notified the authorities, something Kate said she would never forgive her for. Later in life, Diane was stricken by cancer and was secretly visited by Kate in the hospital.

Isabel
Status: Other (Deceased?)
Isabel is one of the Others. She was in charge of investigating Juliet’s plot to kill Ben and the murder of Danny Pickett. She was also seen presiding over Juliet’s sentencing. While Jack was locked in Sawyer’s old cage, she asked him if he knew what his tattoos said.

Steve Jenkins
Status: Lostie (Alive)
Steve is one of the survivors of Oceanic Flight 815. He assisted Michael in clearing debris after a cave-in trapped Jack inside and also helped look for Claire’s attacker after she woke up screaming in the night. He is also commonly confused with Scott, who is dead.

Brother Campbell
Status: Flashback Character (Alive)
Brother Campbell discovered Desmond drunk one night and gave him a place to spend the night at the monastary he is the leader of. Brother Campbell also oversaw Desmond's initiation into the monastary. After some theological discussion and catching Desmond drinking the monastary's wine, Brother Campbell kicked Desmond out.
