ODI LOSTcast 23 Part 2 - Holiday Extended Edition

Hey All,
I hope everyone's Christmas and New Year holidays are going well!? The New Year is right around the corner and today we have Part 2 of our special extended ODI LOST Podcast that was posted to iTunes yesterday.

The first part covered much of all the breaking LOST news, but this new part is even better especially if you are a fan of spoilers. Now I do not want to scare off the fans that are avoiding spoilers, because the first section of this podcast is an interview with a LOST fan named Jon Barrand that got on the show as an extra!!

Jon is a wonderful guy and it is a fun little interview.

We wanted to give you all out there an opportunity to feel and understand what it would be like for any one of us to try and do what Jon accomplished. So we talk to him about his whole experience of moving to Hawaii, of trying to get on the show, living in Hawaii, who he has met and how it felt to actually get THE call to appear. We do discuss the process and the scenes he was involved with, but give you plenty or warning about spoilers.

Jon provided us with some set photos for the filming and we have those posted in the spoilers section of the site.

You can learn more about Jon at his MySpace Page

After the interview, we have our spoilers summary section, which covers all of the spoilers that have been revealed over the last month including the sneak peeks.

So we hope all of you enjoy it and have a Happy and Safe New Year!!

NOTE: Spoilers start at 16 minute mark.

A Christmas Surprise from the LFL!

UPDATE 12/28: Several of you want to know how certain spoilers will affect LFL points. For those of you who have spoilerish questions regarding potential point rulings you can ask them on a special thread on the SpoilerTV Forums. Either DarkUFO or I should be able to answer your questions.

Hopefully this post finds you all happy and safe this holiday season! :-)

As you know, the Lost Fantasy League will soon be back in action. We have over 4,800 contestants taking part, over two dozen new characters and a few new point categories for the Season 5 LFL. Those of you who signed up would probably like to know the rules, right? Well Merry Christmas to you!

Below, you will find the new rule book in a fancy online reader format that also allows you to print it out to have conveniently in your own home. Many of the rules have stayed the same, but we have simplified things for you all. Nearly all of the rules are spelled out in a black and white fashion that should leave little to no room for questions and interpretation. If you do have any questions regarding the rulebook, please email them to lflquestions@gmail.com.

As we get closer to the start of Season 5 and the return of the LFL, I'll be posting plenty more goodies for you all to enjoy, including me putting my hit-or-miss prognostication skills to work and determining which characters will help or hurt your Fantasy Teams. Who knows, I may just have another one of my crazy videos in store for you as well! Until then, however, namaste and good luck!

ODI LOSTcast 23 Part 1 - Holiday Extended Edition

Hey All,
How is it going!? Can you believe we are now LESS than one month away from the LOST Season 5 Premiere!!

Of course this week is Christmas and I hope all of you have are having a great holiday season.

Since our last podcast was posted, several new pieces of LOST news and spoilers have been revealed. So Karen and I decided to record a special Holiday Extended version of the podcast, just for all of you out there as our gift to you all.

The podcast is in two parts, with Part 1 covering all the spoiler-free LOST news, from the end of the Dharma Wants You ARG to all of the recent promos and promotional images that have been revealed. Of course, for some even the promos could be spoilers so just in case we still warn you.

Part 1 was posted on iTunes a few days ago, so some of you might of already listened to it, but for those that missed it or can not use iTunes, below is the audio in a player along with a download link.

Part 2 (which will be available in a few days) includes an interview with a special guest and also includes a summary of all of the recent spoilers. The interview actually reveals some new minor spoilers, but we will post more details once that part is available.

Thanks for listening and we hope you all enjoy!!

Eddie Murphy And Shia LaBeouf To Star In New Batman Movie

Move over Jim Carrey - Eddie Murphy has been tapped to play the role of the Joker in the next Batman film after seasoned actor Johnny Depp turned down the role.

The film, set for a 2010 release, will also include Transformers star Shia LaBeouf, 22, playing Robin. Christian Bale will return as Bruce Wayne, while Michael Caine will play Alfred.

British actress Rachel Weisz has been cast in the Catwoman role.

Director Chris Nolan had been unsure about the future of the Batman films after the January death of Heath Ledger who is set to receive a posthumous Oscar for his role as The Joker in Batman Returns.

Murphy is enjoying somewhat of a comeback these days after several years out of the movie making business. He has just completed "NowhereLand" due next June about a financial executive who can't stop his career spiral and is invited into his daughter's imaginary world, where solutions to his problems await.

Also due in 2010 is "Shrek Goes Fourth" with funnyman Mike Meyers, Cameron Diaz and Antonio Banderas about the further adventures of the giant green ogre, Shrek, living in the land of Far, Far Away.

Currently in production is "The Incredible Shrinking Man" also due in 2010, an updated version of the best-selling novel and blockbuster movie, it tells the story of Scott Carey who shrinks to an incredible small size and must face the danger that he runs into.
