J.J. Abrams Is Now Pitching the New Locke–Ben Linus Show

Update: 22:45 Latest from EW.COM

No surprise here: A well-placed source tells me that three different networks are gunning for a potential new J.J. Abrams-produced series that would find former Lost stars Terry O’Quinn and Michael Emerson playing a pair of black ops agents.
As first reported by NYMag.com, the project—tentatively titled Odd Jobs—is being written by Abrams’ former Alias cohorts Josh Appelbaum and Andre Nemec.

Forget Rizzoli & Isles: Are you ready for Linus & Locke? In news that could cause the Lost fan base to have a synchronized aneurysm, Vulture hears that last week, J.J. Abrams and frequent collaborators Josh Appelbaum and Andre Nemec (Alias, Mission: Impossible 4) began pitching a comedic drama to the networks that would have Michael Emerson and Terry O'Quinn — a.k.a. Benjamin Linus and John Locke/Smokey — playing former black-ops agents.
The idea of Emerson and O'Quinn reuniting isn't completely new: In February, the duo told TV Guide that they were looking to put together a post-Lost TV project for themselves; the rumors were revived again last month when Emerson repeated his hopes for a new show while doing publicity for the Lost full-series DVD collection. Still, all the talk seemed to be in the realm of "maybe one day." Turns out plans for a show are very real and very active — and the involvement of Abrams and other Bad Robot types means there's a really good chance the project will soon find a home.

As always with all things Abrams, details are sketchy, but insiders said the potential show — which we've heard carries the working title Odd Jobs — would have a dose of humor. It's not clear whether Appelbaum and Nemec will include any elements of an idea floated by O'Quinn last winter that had the two former Lost-mates serving as suburban hit men.

It's been a busy month for Bad Robot: Abrams and producing partner Bryan Burk last week set up Person of Interest at CBS and an Alcatraz-themed drama at Fox. Abrams's Undercovers, meanwhile, bows Wednesday on NBC, while the Abrams-directed feature Super 8 is moving forward, with Kyle Chandler and Elle Fanning the first two actors cast in the project. Warner Bros., the studio where Bad Robot is based, had no comment.

ODI LOSTcast 54 - Episode 6x06 Recap and 6x07 Preview

Hey All,
Happy LOST Day!

So last week's episode Sundown had some interesting moments both on and off island. I preferred the on island action over the ALT timeline this week but as always we cover every detail.

I am not sure what happened with the audio this morning and the transcoding today but it took the hosting site over two hours today to process the audio. The podcast was finally posted to iTunes earlier today, but for those that can not access iTunes below is a link to an Audio Player and download link.

Hope you all enjoy!

Episode 6x04 -- Sympathy for the Devil - Recap by Anna

Note: Sorry for the delay once again. This was originally composed after the airing of 6x04, “The Substitute”, but became “trapped” sort of like MIB in a suddenly corrupted version of good ol' Microsoft Word. Thank goodness for the wonderful “Open Office”, the software That Has Saved (It) All.

INTRO: On with the Show

This week’s Locke-centric “The Substitute” was probably the best thing that could have happened to soothe all of the restless natives out in the LOST-iverse who cried “filler” after last week’s slow-but-steady focus on Kate Austen. I mean really, who doesn’t get a kick from Locke’s story? Even if he isn’t your favorite character, you have to admit that after all that has happened to the man, his tale is arguably the most epic of all of LOST’s characters. Now, in this final season, I feel somewhat saddened by the thought that this could very well have been the last episode which centers on this amazing man’s tale.

But enough of my mushy sentimentalizing. This is Locke’s time and there’s always more than plenty to cover in one of his installments. So let’s get to it!

Episode 6x04 The Substitute - ODI LOSTometer Episode Grade

Hey All,
Looks like the Candidate Cave and getting some answers along with new questions in the Locke-Centric The Substitute was received very well by most of the graders.

The final average grade provided us with our first "A" rated episode of the season!

Since last week we have been getting quite a bit of positive feedback from the community and have decided to make this a weekly thing as long as all of the folk participating want to continue to provide us with grades.

Several new sites have been added to the chart and next week we might add some more. The new grades for Episode 6x03 What Kate Does pushed the grade up one notch from C+ to a B- while the premiere stayed at an A-.

Besides the Candidate Cave, one of my favorite scenes took place off island when Locke meets Ben as a teacher. I couldn't stop laughing. Just loved it. BTW, Terry O' Quinn and Josh Holloway are acting their A$$s off!

Quote of the Week:
"You give me a John Locke episode and I'm a happy person"

So please discuss and comment below if you agree with the ratings.

Thanks once again to all that have participated. Don't forget to check out their recaps and sites via the following links:

Some new Russian Lost Season 6 Promo Photos

Update: 20:05 As I've suspected for sometime now, I'm slowly going insane .

Thanks to Sl-Lost for reminding me that these photos were used by Sky1 last year for their billboards and banners here in the UK. I actually posted them on the site lol. But hey for those of you who have not seen them they are still pretty cool.

Thanks to Sawyer840 from http://finaldestinationlost.blogspot.com for sending these very cool looking promo images which are allegedly for the promotion of Lost Season 6 in Russia.

I'm trying to find out if these are Official Promotional Photos or some very nice fan made ones, either way they are pretty badass.
