Hey Losties!!

How have you all been!? How has the hiatus been treating you all!? Having fun with G-Man's Character Cup?? What about the new DWY ARG? Well hope you all are keeping busy and I know the spoiler lovers know production for Season 5 is in full swing!! Currently Episode 5x03 is being filmed so if you want to know what is going on do not forget to check the Spoilers Section here.

I know it has been several weeks since we posted our last podcast, but we had some delays because of some personal time constraints and some editing issues. But, no worries, all is fixed now and we were able to post the new podcast to iTunes over the weekend.

For those, that have not listened to the podcast yet, it is a super sized podcast and is once again in two parts. Here is a little summary of what to expect:

Part 1:
Ron and I update you on the latest LOST news with Ron making a special announcement for all of you out there. The first part ends with my last radio interview I did with the Shannon Burke Show shortly after Comic Con. We do discuss some spoilers but give you some fair warning.

Part 2:
The first portion is my interview with the Mister Payne podcast, which was also shortly after Comic Con and we discussed several different things about the experience of Comic Con. The last part of the podcast is Ron and I providing you with a Spoilers Round-Up that starts at the 50 Minute mark.

ODI LOSTcast 18 Part 1 - Comic Con Recap

Hey All,
So how have you all been!? It has been 3 months since the LOST season 4 finale and we have only 5 months or so left in this long ass hiatus!! I know I know that is still a super long time away, but trust me it will go by quick.

As always we are trying to do our best to help the hiatus go by quicker and one way is via the podcast. This episode of the podcast focuses on the full experience of San Diego Comic Con 08.

For those that do not know, several friends, readers, listeners and fellow Losties met up with my podcast partner Ron and I at CC this year. We had a great time meeting everyone and hanging out among othe LOST lovers made the whole trip even MORE worth it. Of course a little chance meeting with LOST producers Damon Lindelof and Carlton Cuse at the Octagon Global Recruiting booth was not too bad a moment either... :)

Some of you have checked out the pictures and various video clips of how much fun we all had, but here is part one of our Comic Con recap episode where we talk about the good, the bad and whatever else during our trip.

Once again we had our very good friend and Queen of LOST on MySpace, Karen join us on the podcast to discuss these great moments and more!!

The ODI and his team of DarkUFO bloggers have arrived in San Diego and are already starting to provide us with some coverage of the event.

The Lost Panel and related Lost events such as Octagon Global Recruiting stand will be reported here. We will also be updating the Octagon Global Recruiting part of the site with any updates as they happen.

We will also be covering the rest of Comic-Con as part of our SpoilerTV coverage here. This will include all other shows and movies.

ODI LOSTcast 17 - Various Updates and Mister Payne Podcast Interview

How have you all been!?

So the ever popular Episode Cup has begun here on DarkUFO and we are getting awfully close to Comic Con!! Those of you that still want to join the team at Comic Con please email me.

Well a few weeks ago I had the pleasure of joining SEVERAL other LOST podcasters for an Epic Season 4 recap/review podcast that was hosted by Mister Payne. The podcast ended up being over 3 hours long and my segment was about 25 mins long. Yeah and you thought the ODI LOSTcasts were long?? Still a great listen probably over a couple of sessions, just bunch of different opinions about LOST and season 4.

Mister Payne actually wanted to interview Dark or someone from his site about spoilers, LOST season 4 and the site in general. Since Andy was on vacation he asked me to do it for him.

So now since many of you might not have 3 hours to listen to the whole podcast, this weeks ODI LOSTcast, is actually just a little 5 minute update for LOST news and then my interview with Mister Payne which totals about 30 minutes in total.

Here is a little summary of the interview with the audio and below that is the FULL 3 Hour Podcast audio from Mister Payne. Of course thanks to Mister Payne for the time and interview.

1) Finally learn the history of The ODI name!! I know many of you know what it means, but for those that don't it stands for The Orange Dharma Initiative and I explained how the ODI name was created.

2) Talk about Spoiler Culture (No Spoilers): People that hate spoilers, "death" threats, and what is considered a "spoiler"?? Also hear my theory on who LOSTFan108 is and where we get some of our spoilers. This part is great for all of you spoiler-free fans to learn the inside of another world of LOST.

3) Little discussion about Season 4 and why I thought it was great.

4) Mister Payne who interviewed me, thinks Season 2 is the best season ever. I liked it quite a bit, but I disagreed with him because although great it is the worst of the 4 and told him why.

New Details for Octagon Global and LOST Panel at Comic Con

Hey Losties,
So as you know we are gathering a good team of Losties and friends to make the trip to San Diego Comic Con. We will be live blogging from SDCC and the LOST Panel that will be held on Saturday (currently scheduled for 12 noon PST). Unfortunately it seems like tickets for Saturday when the LOST panel is scheduled are sold out, but if you have a ticket and want to join us, please email me at: mrtheodi@gmail.com.

No ticket is required to watch the LOST Panel.

As most of you know ABC is planning on having a booth with a new company called Octagon Global Recruiting (OGR) that is a division of the Dharma Initiative. All that has been officially confirmed is that OGR is set up to recruit us the fans as members of the DI.

ABC has been hush hush about more details or plans, but thanks to a new source we seemed to have received some interesting details of what is planned.

Now, since this is the first time we have some potential "spoilers" about Comic Con, so if you do NOT want to know or be spoiled, then STOP reading now. Additionally the information seems quite legit and we trust the source, but have no confirmation from ABC yet.

Also, there is NO word on if anything from OGR or SDCC will ever make the show and the current rumors are that this will lead to a new LOST ARG leading into Season 5. So for many, this is most likely not spoilery, but we want to be safe and warn you all.

Please do NOT email us asking who the source, is because we have promised to keep them anonymous, but if you want to know the information then click the following button to see more details.

This is just a SUMMARY of the information we received and yes we know some of it is stuff we knew already.

1) At the OGR recruitment booth there will be actors who will playing members of OGR recruiters.

2) They are there to promote and make us sign up to an "online recruiting game".

The recruiters will stand next to computer terminals that are connected to the fake site, in order to help users create profiles and to guide them through a fake questionnaire.

3) A second group of individuals (3-4 actors) that are NOT the recruiters will also be at SDCC. No confirmation if they will be on the floor or at the booth yet, but most likely just the LOST Panel.

4) OGR will also be a part of the LOST Panel. There will be 4 members of OGR.

5) As of today, no cast members confirmed to appear and the only word so far is that Damon Lindelof and Carlton Cuse will of course be there.

6) At the panel, the OGR recruiters will make a LIVE "performance" to recruit new members of Dharma.

7) The second group of individuals will make an appearance at some point during the performance to "throw a wrench" into the OGR's plans.

So to me it looks like another Rachel Blake type of incident is planned...?? Is this all the beginning of a new LOST Experience/Find815 game or perhaps even more than that....!?

This is what we have so far and hopefully we will get some more information soon. So keep checking back for more information and as soon as we have it, we will let you all know.

Octagon Global Recruiting Sends out First Email

1) In a recent interview Cuse confirmed that: Depending on how you do on the test you will be a Dharma Physicist, Chemist, or even a Workman.

This tidbit is from a much longer interview posted in the spoilers section and I think there will be more options than just these three.

2) The Source Code of the OGR Email contains the following: "March has 32 Days"

March has 32 Days is a story from Mystery Tales 40, which was seen in the test given to Locke by Richard Alpert. Here is a screencap of the code and use the following link to learn more: March Has 32 Days

Here is the first official email sent out from Octagon Global Recruiting. The email just confirms that OGR will be holding a volunteer recruitment drive and providing "aptitude tests" to applicants at San Diego Comic Con. You can click to enlarge the image.

What does this all mean? Well the initial reports are that this is the start of a new LOST ARG, but who knows? Last year we got The Orchid, so far this year it is OGR.

Also, several of you noticed that this email was also sent to a Hans Van Eeghen (hansvaneeghen@octagonglobalrecruiting.com) and if you send a message to this email you get the following auto-reply:

Join Team ODI/DarkUFO at Comic Con

Hey All,
As most of you already know by now, at the end of July, the largest Comic Book Convention known as "Comic-Con" will be held in San Diego.

What does this have to do with LOST!? Well over the last several years a transformation has taken place at Comic-Con, where it is no longer just about the comics, but also about Movies, TV shows, Sci-Fi, and basically all things cool.

It has become common for Studios and Networks to use SDCC as a venue to promote their movies and shows to create a big buzz.

Last year Damon Lindelof and Carlton Cuse held a Q&A Panel to answer fan questions and to introduce us to Harrold Perrineau (Michael) after confirming he was returning for Season 4. Also, for those of you that do not like spoilers and perhaps just don't know, the first clip about The Orchid Station, was released at SDCC last year!!

Last year Dark had a live blog setup with his team and I was also in attendance to film the panel. Yup, we will do all this and more again this year.

We are planning to have the live blogs up and running here on DarkUFO and at TheODI.com to bring you up to the second updates from SDCC08 and the LOST Panel.

As I mentioned I will be in attendance with a few close friends and Losties including my podcast partner The Spoiler Hunter and LOST Recapper Anna. Clearing up Confusion - Isabel is dead

There have been a lot of comments and emails asking about Isabel and her apparent death. Hopefully we can clear this up finally.

At Comic-Con, Damon Lindelof stated that Isabel was deceased when showing a clip from the S3 DVD. It was also mentioned in the Podcast that you can hear HERE. She was killed as part of the raid on the beach along with Pryce, Tom and Aldo in the Season 3 Finale.
