ODI LOST Podcast 74 - We Have to Go Back - Pilot Episode: Jack

Hey Everyone!
Hope you are all doing great?? So as promised we are back to do more LOST podcasts!

The whole team is back including myself, Vozzek aka Danny and of course fan favorite and Queen of LOST and rock star Karen!

So when we started chatting about what we should do for our new podcasts we threw several ideas around but one of the central themes was to look back at some of the earlier mysteries, subjects, episodes and more based on what we all now know or think we know. ;)

So we felt that we should start all the way back at Season 1 with the Pilot episode and then work our way through the seasons focusing on several topics, characters and mysteries. Not really going episode to episode in a traditional rewatch, but to tackle the major points. So it will vary with each podcast until we find some sort of set formula. Of course if you guys have thoughts, questions, ideas or topics you want us to cover we are an open book and this is your opportunity to hear our thoughts.

These new podcasts might not be as long as our traditional recap podcasts, but we are still having a bunch of fun and talking about crazy ideas. Also, we will do our best to keep it real and relate it to how the show ended.

So enough of my thoughts, we all are really excited to be doing this again and we look forward to trying to give you all some podcasts on a regular basis. I doubt it will be weekly, but maybe every couple of weeks or so. Make sure you let all of your Lostie friends know we are back and that they should subscribe again if they unsubscribed.

Hey All,
So the podcast is finally here!!

Once again thanks to all of you that were very patient to wait to listen to this podcast.

It was great to chat with both Danny and Karen again and in this second part of the recap we covered every aspect of the on-island adventures of the Losties and the epilogue The New Man in Charge.

Ab Absurdo - Podcast Interview with Ian Lee

Thanks to Eliot for the following.

I have a student radio show within UEA's (Norwich) station. Last week, I hosted a LOST special as we are major fans of the show.

The headline part of the show was an interview with the presenter/ superfan Iain Lee (Lost Initiative/ Sky1 Specials)

He told some very funny stories about the cast (including some about the 'worst cast member') and I though some other fans might find it interesting too.

ODI LOSTcast 72 - Series Finale Recap Part 1

WOW. I do not believe it! Yup an ODI LOST Podcast!

It feels like it has been ages and well frankly when it was the recap of the finale of the best show of our lifetime and we made you wait weeks and weeks to get part 1, well I it has been ages and I don't blame all of you for wondering WTF happened?

Unfortunately there is not one simple answer to that question. I initially decided to take some time to get some personal stuff done but knew I had time because of the giveaway and well most of you that have seen the updates know there was some cheating going on that led to some changes in how the winner was picked. It was still someone from the emails and some one picked at random.

When I fell for Lost I fell hard. I rapidly consumed all things that had to do with the show which, combined with my burgeoning habit of listening to podcasts during my commute, led me to The Odi. The Odi lead me to DarkUfo and so many great recaps. But really it was The Odi and the LOSTcast that I found to be the perfect supplement to the raw data of Lostapedia and it quickly became part of my daily surfing routine. Damon and Carlton have often said that the fans are just as much a part of the show as the writers and to me, The Odi is proof of this. All the content here, the information behind the scenes, in front of the scenes, cast and crew interviews and the rich content of the podcast have made me feel like part of the mythology. Something that cannot be duplicated no matter how many re-watches. I am forever grateful for this. And for things like this amazing contest! A big, fat Thank You to The Odi for all this. Through rain, snow and a house fire The Odi was always there. However, I have, admittedly, been myopic with the site, head in the Lost sand, but my daily visits continue and I'm discovering new life after Lost. Lots to be excited about. None of it will be Lost but that's okay, I recently learned how to let go.

I am really glad that after all the confusion a loyal fan won! Well there were a few other minor reasons for the additional delays but I am glad it is finally out for you all to hear!

In part 1 we cover all of the afterlife/purgatory/ALT world scenes and always throw in thoughts about other moments from LOST. Please let us know if you agree or disagree and your thoughts in the comments section below.

I will be at Comic Con this weekend so if anyone of you will be there and would like to meet up please let me know. It will be awesome to hang with some Losties again!

Now word on the street is there might be some stuff about the LOST DVD set at Comic Con so we will update you with anything we see.

As far as the plan for part 2 we will record next week sometime and hopefully have it out a week or so later. So look for a second part in a couple of weeks.

It has been about a week since the LOST series finale has aired and I hope you all are doing good!

Earlier this week we asked you to send in some questions and we received so many great questions! There is of course no way to answer each one but in this bonus podcast we answer several of the common questions that were sent in and provide you with our initial thoughts about the finale.

We are working on our Finale Recap podcast and it will most likely be in two to three parts so keep your eyes open for those. Also since so many great questions were sent in we will try to do another bonus podcast to answer some more.

ODI Podcast Update - Fan Questions Requested

Hey All,
So it has been a few days and I know many are still upset and will never change their opinions about the end of LOST. Some of you are still wondering about things while some are satisfied and content.

Where ever you are on that range we want to hear from all of you. Please send in any questions you have about the finale or the show in general and we will pick the top questions to answer and provide you with our thoughts.

We are still planning on doing several podcasts about the show and finale, but the recap one will take some time to record and edit. So in the meantime we thought it would be cool to just take some of the common questions from the fans and do our best to provide you with our thoughts for a special Finale Bonus podcast.

If you have just a comment please post them as well and we will maybe read some of those also.

Yes, we were way off with many of our theories, maybe you want to know our take on those now? Maybe you want to know how Vozzek was feeling when Frank flew the plane off the island? Maybe you want to know what Karen thinks of the potential "Matrix" or video game theory?

We had a feeling something was not right about the ALT world, but not necessarily purgatory. Send in questions about the ALT Purgatory world?

ODI LOSTcast 69 - Episode 6x15 Across the Sea Recap

Hey All,
Well I know many fans were not thrilled when last week's episode ended and were actually quite disappointed. However, Karen, Vozzek and myself actually liked it quite a bit.

Is that a surprise? Probably not, but we explain why and how we thought this episode was not only good but also important.

From the birth of twins Jacob and Man in Black to the reveal that Mother and Man in Black are Adam and Eve.

Yes the episode did not tell us anything much about out Losties, but it did reveal the origins of the events that led to our Losties eventually reaching the island. We saw the heart of the island the reason why perhaps Jacob and eventually that maybe one of our Losties will have to guard the Island.
