Actor Doug Hutchison, who played Percy in The Green Mile and Horace Goodspeed on Lost, just got married. His bride? A sixteen-year-old “aspiring country singer” named Courtney Alexis Stodden. Doug is 51. Clearly, Doug’s publicist knew that the marriage announcement was going to raise some eyebros, so they released a statement on behalf of the couple: “We’re aware that our vast age difference is extremely controversial. But we’re very much in love and want to get the message out there that true love can be ageless.” Because the couple married in Nevada, where the legal age for marriage is 18, this means that at least one of Courtney’s parents must have signed a legal consent form.
