Full Lost Mobisode 1 plus Mobisode 2 Details

Update: 10:40 GMT It appears that the description for the 2nd mobisode might actually be from a Lost Trailer/Promo that was aired last night and NOT from the mobisode. If anyone has this recorded or on YouTube please let me know.

Here is the official first Lost Mobisode which we brought to you last week. We're hoping to have the second Mobisode available tomorrow.

And thanks to Sawyer840 for finding out details of the 2nd Mobisode for us.

I just watched the promo (I have EMHE DVRd... I'm that lame) and it wasn't a promo for the show, but for the mobisodes. It seemed to feature the Hurley mobisode the most, which is apparently some kind of adventure where Hurley is running through the jungle yelling for help, then in a room with water pouring in (looking eerily like where Charlie died), and in the jungle again with a bloody-faced Ben telling him "I have information you need." There were very quick clips of Desmond, Jin, Claire, and Juliet, but that was it. None of the other characters.

With a massive thanks to Susan who went to a lot of time and trouble to get this mobisode to us all by having to video it off from her phone. The video and audio quality therefore is not the best but it's certainly a lot better than nothing, and with the strike we're all after a little good Lost news. Hopefully ABC will release the full quality version soon.

So once again here is the 1st Lost Mobisode along with a transcript (courtesy of Leslie's a Bitchin Name).

Thanks Susan!

LOST - Missing Pieces

THE WATCH

[Jack throwing rocks into the ocean. Wearing shades, hair is longer than normal].

Christian: Whatcha doin there kiddo?

[camera turns to show Christian walking towards Jack on a beach. They are in front of the hotel where Jack gets married.]

Jack: Just throwing rocks.
Christian: Good! It's good to the Rocking Throwing out before you get married.
Jack: It was either this or being inside with Sarah and the Wedding Planner figuring out where all the flowers should go.
Christian: Wise choice. Listen, before tonight, before things get crazy, I wanted to give you something. This was my dad's and I thought it'd be fitting.
[Christian pulls a watch out of a white handkerchief]
Jack: I've never seen you wear it before.
Christian: That's because I never did. See, your grandfather didn't really like your mom. He thoguht marrying her was a mistake. He told me, to my face, that the day that I got married, he'd give me this watch. So I never wore it.
Jack: Are you trying to tell me something?
Christian: You made..the absolute right choice.
[Jack puts watch on]
Jack: Guess this is really happening, huh?
Christian: Soon as those flowers are set up...and as soon as you run out of rocks.
[pause]
Christian: Do me a favor, huh? If you and Sarah ever have a kid, try to treat it better than I treated you.
Jack: No pressure, huh?
Christian: See you inside, kiddo.

Mobisodes coming out this week?

Update: 17:00 GMT My friend Susan is currently attempting to video the video on her phone as there is no way to save the streamed image as it's protected. Hopefully we will have it online soon but the quality is likely to be very poor.

Update: 16:00 GMT I have a friend who has this video but they don't know how to save/transfer the video from the phone. Does anyone with a Verizon phone know if this is possible?

Thanks to Odul for alerting me to this. It appears the first mobisode is out (see description below). If anyone has a Verizon service and can send me the video I will post it here for other fans to see.

Well first you have to have Verizon service, and then you access V-Cast Video...from there you go to the TV & Film Menu...then you go to the ABC Entertainment Menu...then you scroll down until you find the video labeled Lost.

It is 2 minutes and 42 seconds long.

First mobisode comes on this week, and it's got Jack-Christian in it, supposedly from their past, I'm just quoting olivergreen here, the person who alerted us about it.

It starts with Jack throwing rocks into the ocean and Christian shows up and gives him his grandfather's watch. They talk about marriage and being a father.

Tidal Wave of 'Lost' Info on the Horizon

Thanks to Lyly and The Odi for finding this snippet from BuddyTV.

One rumor that has crept from some dark corner of the Internet is that the Lost gang will be premiering the first episode of the long awaited Mobisodes. The Lost Mobisodes will apparently feature primary cast members captured in candid moments, with fragments of a revealing underlying bit of mythology mixed in.

The Lost season four panel will take place on July 26, at 5:00pm est.

Mobisodes and the Ending of Lost

Looks like we might finally get to see those pesky Mobisodes before the end of Lost. Here are some snippets of the article.

NEW YORK -- Even after Sunday's controversial conclusion to "The Sopranos," two "Lost" executive producers said Wednesday that they weren't planning a murky ending to their hit ABC drama.

"We will not be ending with a blackout," executive producer Carlton Cuse told an audience gathered in Midtown Manhattan for the second day of Promax/BDA's annual conference.

He and co-creator Damon Lindelof answered questions -- but not any of those questions -- and said that they do have an ending for the show that was fleshed out along with the last three seasons during a recently completed writers' "minicamp" before the start of production in August.

"Lost" will end in spring 2010 after 48 more hourlong episodes, 16 per season. Lindelof said "Lost" has to move from asking more questions to answering the questions posed during the series' run.

"Obviously, we can't wait to the 48th hour to say, 'Here are all the mysteries of the show,' " Lindelof said. But Cuse also noted the reality of the sometimes vociferous and heavily engaged viewership of the show, which uses the Web to advance theories and post explanations and even freeze-frames to parse further meaning.

"I'm not sure there is any ending that will satisfy everyone," Cuse said. "Our hope is that the ending will be ... the logical conclusion of the story."

Cuse said the first season was about the Oceanic Flight 815 survivors landing on the island and realizing they weren't going to get rescued. The second season was about the hatch, and the third season was about the Others.

"Next season, well, we'll talk about that later," Cuse said.

While "Lost" viewers will have to wait till next year to see the next TV episodes, Cuse and Lindelof said in the fall there will be a series of "Lost" mobisodes featuring the entire cast and rolling out first on Verizon Wireless and then probably appearing on ABC.com. They said they're keenly aware of the eight-month gap between last month's finale and the return of "Lost" at the beginning of next year.

"How do you keep the show alive in the minds of the audience in that time?" Cuse asked. They're also planning to go back to San Diego's Comic-Con International, where the show was launched, to address May's Season 3 finale and what they had in mind.

Cuse said the mobisodes, about 90 seconds each, will give the hardcore "Lost" viewer more information that they probably weren't going to get through the show itself. What it won't be, they said, was a mini version of "Lost."

"It needs to be interesting enough and well produced enough that people feel they're getting enough bang for their buck, even if it's free, the bang for their time," Lindelof said.

Lindelof said the negotiations for the talent took a long time, but they wanted to make sure that all of them were involved in the mobisodes.

"Nobody wanted to see two people sitting on a beach that we've never heard of talking and saying, 'Hey, did you hear what Jack and Kate did today?' You want to see Jack and Kate. It's taken us three years to get those deals in place," Lindelof said.
