Introduction
Here we go folks- the Hiatus Fantasy League is under way! Over the next three and a half months we will have the opportunity to test out all the fun technology that will make the Season 4 Fantasy League work. As mentioned before, there will be 8 episodes involved in this Hiatus League, with video updates every two weeks. This will give you all a chance to revisit old episodes and try your hand at keeping score for yourself and then comparing against the official score, determined by me.

The first episode for the Hiatus League was Exodus Part 2, the 2-hour Season 1 finale. It was a strong episode that dished out plenty of points, despite a large amount of character absenteeism. I want to warn you that the video on your left is very long and it may take a while for it to load. Please be patient with us during this testing phase. There will be many improvements made via our observations and your feedback. Future Updates will be much shorter too. :-)

The following is the episode recap and scoring data for all the characters for Week 1 of the Hiatus League. The episode I watched was 1x24- Exodus Part 2.

Exodus Part 2 (in 500 words or less)

The A-Team plus Arzt are just as confused as we were that the Black Rock is a boat and not, in fact, a rock. Danielle takes off, while Jack, Kate and Locke go looking for the dynamite in the ship’s hold, leaving Hurley to kick it outside with Arzt. Interloper Arzt succeeds in whining about his ex-wife and going on a tongue-in-cheek tirade about how important everyone who’s not in the main cast is. He then succeeds at belittling the very people he longs for acceptance from and gives a tedious lecture on the importance of dynamite-handling safety, which comes to an abrupt end as he blows himself to bits.

While Jack and Locke are left to wipe all the Arzt off their shirts and play Operation with the boomsticks, Danielle emerges back on the beach, coldcocks Claire and absconds with Aaron. After a pinch of exposition and some psychobabble from Sayid as to why Charlie shouldn’t carry a gun, they race off into the jungle after the freaky French chick. On the way, Charlie lags behind and gets hurt by one of Rousseau’s traps. Sayid makes a quick fix of this by cauterizing the wound with gunpowder. Ouch.

Not much is happening on the raft until they manage to sail directly into the path of very large, hard-to-miss piece of driftwood. Sawyer rescues the rudder, sans shirt.

While carrying back the dynamite, the A-Team (now minus Arzt) gets attacked by a very noisy puff of black smoke. Locke lets it drag him away like a crazy person, but Jack saves Jungle John before he gets sucked down into a hole in the ground. They make it back to the Hatch and prepare to blow the lid off this thing, literally. Hurley sees the Numbers on the side of the hatch and freaks out. He nearly pulls an Arzt, but Jack saves the day and they dive for cover.

Charlie and Sayid rescue Aaron, who Rousseau wanted to trade to the Others in exchange for her long-lost daughter, Alex. Meanwhile, the raft folk get attacked by the Others, Walt is taken, and the raft is destroyed. We’re left hanging until Season 2 with a shot of Jack and Locke staring down through the hatch door, which reveals a very long shaft accompanied by a very broken ladder.

In flashbacks we see our beloved characters as they make their way to the airport and on board Oceanic Flight 815.
