The DarkUFO LOST Season 3 Awards - The Winners

First of all thanks to everyone who voted and commented on this Season Awards, we had nearly 9,000 votes for each award which is exceptional. So without any further ado lets take a look at each category winner as well as who I voted for as well.

Did any of these results surprise/shock you? Also what new categories should we start thinking of for next year?

Favorite character of the season
Winner by a very small 1% margin was Ben who beat Sawyer with Locke coming in 3rd position.

Who had the best flashbacks this season?
First place goes to Desmond with 30% followed by a tie for 2nd place with Ben and Locke on 22%

Best Episode of Season 3?
Well the clear winner here was the Season 3 finale Through the Looking Glass, with The Man Behind the Curtain in 2nd and The Brig in 3rd.

Worst Episode of Season 3?
This infamous award goes to "Stranger in a Strange Land" with 39% of the votes, followed by "Expose" on 28%

Most Underused Character(s)?
New comer Richard Alpert was the clear winner here with 36% followed by Danielle 21% and Rose&Bernard on 20%

Winner here goes to Ben on 35% followed I thought surprisingly by Richard Alpert (26%) and then Juliet (21%)

Best Newcomer
Well this was dominated by Juliet (57%) and Richard Alpert (36%) with 3rd place tied between Karl and Naomi (3%)

Worst Newcomer
Poor Paulo (34%) and Nikki(28%) took down 1st and 2nd here with Naomi coming in 3rd with 13%

Best Death
The demise of poor Charlie at the hands of the seemingly indestructible Mikhail took down 1st place with 39%, followed by Paulo&Nikki being buried alive (17%) and Cooper finally getting his comeuppance (14%)

Most Missed Character?
This was dominated by Charlie (57%) and Eko (30%) with Tom in a distant 3rd with 8%

Best Male actor of season?
Michael Emerson great performances once again took 1st place (34%) with Matthew Fox and Josh Holloway tied in 2nd place with 18%.

Best Female actor of season
This was a fairly one-sided affair with the talented Elizabeth Mitchell taking 1st place with 60% of the votes, followed by Evangeline Lilly in 2nd with 26% and Yunjin Kim with 8%

Most Despised Other
Ben took this award with 34% followed by Mikhail (26%) and Pryce (17%)

Worst Flashback
Poor Paulo & Nikki once again take another infamous award with 47% of the votes, with Jack in 2nd (19%) and Kate 3rd (13%)

Favourite Couple
One of the closest matchups here with Kate and Sawyer taking first place (23%), Charlie and Claire in 2nd with 21% and Kate and Jack in 3rd with 17%.

Best Title
Another close battle for 1st with "Through the Looking Glass" (32%) just pipping "The Man behind the Curtain" (31%). Third place was taken by the Hurley's episode Tricia Tanaka is Dead.

Best Reveal
This was a landslide victory for the Season finales reveal that Jack and Kate get off the Island in the Flashforward with a massive 69%. Second place was the fact that The Others were living in normal houses (11%) with 3rd going to Cooper being the real Sawyer (7%)

Best Plot
We had a tie for 1st place here with Jacob (27%) and Desmond/Charlie/Flashes (27%). 3rd place was the whole Sawyer/Cooper/Locke storyline (21%)

Worst Character
Once again the infamous awards are dominated by spider loving Paulo (36%) and Nikki (26%) with Pickett (15%) in 3rd place.

Saddest Scene
Charlie Death (61%) and Charlie saying goodbye to Aaron (20%) dominated the 1st 2 places with Eko & Yemi walking into distance as Eko dies taking 3rd place.

Best Ending
No surprises here really with the Season Finale ending taking 1st place with 57%, followed by Cooper being on the Island (13%) and "Not Penny's Boat" (10%) taking 2nd and 3rd.

Best Literary Reference
This went to "Alice in Wonderland" (37%) with "The Wizard of Oz" (24%) and "Catch-22" (18%) trailing behind.

Best On-Screen Acting Chemistry
The clear winner here were Terry and Michael (33%) followed by Dom and Jorge (18%) and Josh and Evi (16%)

Best Scene
Another really tight battle for 1st place here with the Ben/Locke/Jacob (36%) scene just taking 1st place over Sawyer/Cooper at the Brig (34%). Third place went to Desmond and Ms Hawkings encounter (11%)

Funniest Scene
Although there were dozens of great scenes this season, we had to narrow it down and pick some winners.
1st place went to Hurley attacking the Beach with the Van (22%), 2nd place to Hurley contacting the others after his attack (21%) and 3rd going to Jin's Ghost Story (20%)

Best Mystery Wrap Up
1st place went to Locke's paralysis finally being revealed (27%), 2nd place to the conclusion of the Sawyer/Locke/Cooper story arc (23%) with 3rd place going to what happened with the Hatch explosion/Desmond (17%)
