As previously mentioned we are going to try to determine the best scenes in Lost from the first 3 seasons. I've already collected your Season 1 Nominations so Today we start voting for the best Season 1 Scenes.

Voting is a little different here in that I don't have any software that will allow 70+ scenes to be voted on so below we have 11 polls with 7 options each. You can vote for as many scenes as you like and the individual poll winners is NOT the key factor. When voting closes in 3 days time I will add up and list the most voted for scenes.

These 7 will then go head to head against each other with the top 2 scenes progressing to the Grand final where they will meet the top 2 from Season 2 and 3. When we have determined the top 2 going forward, we will then start on the Season 2 nominations.

The Man Behind the Curtain


"The Man Behind the Curtain" is the 20th episode of Season 3, and was broadcast on May 9, 2007. After bringing his father's body to Ben, Locke demands to see Jacob, the leader of the Others. Meanwhile, Sawyer returns to camp with the tape recorder, causing everyone to finally confront Jack and Juliet.

"The Brig" was the 19th episode of Season 3, and was originally broadcast on May 2, 2007. The Others offer Locke the chance to join them if he shows his commitment. Unable to do what they ask, Locke recruits Sawyer to do it for him. Pilot



The complete pilot aired in its original format on October 2, 2004. The episode sets the precedent of real-time events and "flashbacks" of characters' pasts before being on the Island. Jack Shephard, a doctor from Los Angeles, finds himself a survivor of a plane crash on a mysterious island. With the help of other survivors, he begins treating the injured and attempts to find the cockpit of the plane in the hope of contacting civilization. Jack's one flashback in this episode depicts his view of events on the plane just prior to the crash.

The Other 48 Days


The Other 48 Days is the seventh episode of Season 2 of Lost. The episode is unique as the entire episode is a flashback, telling of what happened to the survivors of the tail section of Oceanic Flight 815 from their moment of the crash right up until the "present day" on the Island. Finding that she has survived a terrible plane crash, Ana-Lucia Cortez becomes the de facto leader of an eclectic group of survivors. However, the newly formed community is put through extreme stress as they become targeted by strange indigenous individuals on the Island.
