After weeks of voting, Lost fans have decided that the best Location on Lost to date is the main beach camp in a fairly one-sided final against Jacob Shack.
Just wanted to give a massive thanks to Dharmaggedon for putting this cup together along with his great images, and thanks to the thousands of you who voted and commented.
I also thought with Season 4 rapidly approaching to list all the cup winners we've had during this ever so long Hiatus. Thanks again to all my helpers, especially G-Man and Dharmageddon for all their hard work on running this cups and polls.
And thanks to you all for sticking around DarkUFO during this Hiatus which we have managed to survive, in fact we've managed to survive longer than our Losties have on the Island to date.
Due to the writers strike is looks like we're going to have another extended break before we get to see episodes 9-16 so we have a few more things planned for this next break but we seem to have survived the first one pretty much intact.
Below is a summary of the cup winners and here's hoping for some more excellent, scenes, characters, locations and episodes in Season 4.

The Winner of the Best Scene Awards is Charlie's Death scene in Through the Looking Glass. Second Place went to the opening scene of the Season 2 Premiere with Locke banging on the hatch in Deux ex Machina coming in 3.

Now as a number of you have mentioned our polls handle 7 options when voting, and we have the best 2 scenes from each season in the final so we should try to fill that remaining 7th place. As a result we will vote to determine which of the best 3rd placed episodes should advance into the final. With there being a tie between Charlie's Death and Jacob, both of these will be entered into the playoff votes below.

As previously mentioned we are going to try to determine the best scenes in Lost from the first 3 seasons. I've already collected your Season 3 Nominations so Today we start voting for the best Season 3 Scenes.
Voting is a little different here in that I don't have any software that will allow 70+ scenes to be voted on so below we have 10+ polls with up to 7 options each. You can vote for as many scenes as you like and the individual poll winners is NOT the key factor. When voting closes in 3 days time I will add up and list the most voted for scenes.
These 7 will then go head to head against each other with the top 2 scenes progressing to the Grand final where they will meet the top 2 from Season 1 and 2.

It's now time to select the 2 episodes that will be going forward to the grand Series final where they will battle it out with 2 scenes from Season 1 and 3. You may select as many episodes as you like below, but voting for more than 2 is not recommended as it reduces the worth of your votes. I've also included a brief video snippet of each scene that I hope you will enjoy. Voting will last 3 days, when a winner will be announced and then we move onto Season 3.

As previously mentioned we are going to try to determine the best scenes in Lost from the first 3 seasons. I've already collected your Season 2 Nominations so Today we start voting for the best Season 2 Scenes.
Voting is a little different here in that I don't have any software that will allow 70+ scenes to be voted on so below we have 11 polls with 7 options each. You can vote for as many scenes as you like and the individual poll winners is NOT the key factor. When voting closes in 3 days time I will add up and list the most voted for scenes.
These 7 will then go head to head against each other with the top 2 scenes progressing to the Grand final where they will meet the top 2 from Season 1 and 3. When we have determined the top 2 going forward, we will then start on the Season 3 nominations.

With the success of the Episode Cup, which is currently running, we've decided to follow this up with the Character Cup (more of this to come soon) and introduce a new Award competition for the Favourite Scene in Lost. This has been suggested by a large number of you all, so thanks to everyone for this. This Scene Competition will run during both the Episode and Character Cups.
The Scene Competition is quite simple. It will be divided by Season and then the top 2 Scenes from each season will then go head to head for the final placings. I will be making the final scenes in question available in video format so everyone can re-live the scenes in question.
