We now have just 1 week left before we shut off the submissions for both the Fantasy League and the Prediction League. We have over 4300 submissions so far for both and you can see the latest team totals for the Fantasy League on the left.

Don't be left out for next season, so make sure you get your submissions in. Also please update any forum posts that you may have made or be aware off in your respective sites to alert them to the fact that only 1 week remains.

Got back late last night from a great trip and wedding in Dubai. Thanks to The ODI for looking after the site in my absence and Penguin Josh, The Strog and Dharmageddon for posting all the polls you have been submitting. I'm currently working my way through a huge backlog of emails and submissions which I will be answering and posting over the next 48 hours or so.

Also, to let you know we now have nearly 3,000 submissions for the Fantasy League and 2,900 for the Prediction League. I suspect the submissions will stay open for about 1 more month so make sure you get your entries in. Shown is the latest table for the Fantasy League for all the mini-leagues/sites that will be competing. Remember to let the sites that you are playing for know that they have about 1 month left for submissions.

(Note: If anyone is a member of the Fuselage, Lost-Forum, BuddyTV and or The Tailsection, can you make a post in the relevant forum as I'm surprised by the lack of submissions from there).

We also have nearly 1200 players signed up for the Episode Cup Bracket Cup. Make sure you sign up before the end of month deadline!

Fantasy and Prediction League Updates

Update: 17th June Final update before I return on Monday.

Just a quick update on the Fantasy League to help answer some of the email queries I've been getting.

1) We don't have a close date for either the Fantasy League or the Prediction League.
2) The Submission Forms will be closed for both of these when we start seeing major spoilers come in from filming. We expect this to be sometime in August although some spoilers may start coming through as early as July during Comic Con. So basically get your teams/picks in ASAP to avoid disappointment.
3) The Prediction League Form does not send a confirmation email back to you. If you have forgotten your picks you will have to wait until the Form is closed and we publish the full table.
4) The graphic on the left shows the current state of play of the mini-leagues that have been setup this year so that you can a) track yourself against fellow players on your favourite sites and b) Have each site compete against each other to see who gets the best average score per Site.
5) With the above in mind, please ensure that you let your fellow message board sites know of the fantasy league so that they can sign up and remind them to make sure they select the right site. A number of sites have made posts on their homepage, blogs or made "Sticky" forum posts.
6) Teams with less than 10 members will not be included in the Inter Site Scoring but we will still provide stats for you to play against your fellow team members
7) Everyone is in the overall league so you will still be competing against EVERYONE who has entered regardless of mini-league they have entered.

Status Update

I've been getting a lot of emails from people asking when is xyz happening, when does abc finish etc etc So I thought it might be a good idea to make a post with the latest state of play of all the various Hiatus Activities taking place.

Season 4 Awards
The Season 5 awards are still available for voting HERE and HERE. The polls will be closed on Monday and all the winners will be announced then.

Season 5 Prediction League
The Prediction League is still open for submissions and will be until we start getting any major spoilers through. We've already smashed last years entry field of 900 players and we have over 2500 players already this year signed up! If you have not yet submitted your predictions you can do so HERE. Once closed we will post all the stats etc from the submissions for each category.

Episode Cup
As we've previously mentioned we've added a new fun aspect to this years Episode Cup in that you can try to predict the results of each round along with a Season 4 DVD as the prize for the winner. We've already had 950+ Entries and you have until 1st of July to get your entry submitted. You can fill out the entry form HERE. Make sure you fill out your bracket fully.

Once the above entries are closed on 1st July we will then start the Episode Cup Polls.

Fantasy League
Like the Prediction League, the Fantasy League, which opened it's door yesterday, will stay open for submissions until we start getting any major spoilers through. We've already have over 800 entries in less than 24hrs and look set to break last year's field of 2300 players. You can find out about it HERE and signup up if you have not already done so. Make sure you tell your Lost friends about it. Once the submissions are closed we will post all the various stats and info about the submissions eg the most popular picks, teams etc.

Character Cup
Yes there will be another Character Cup this year and like the Episode Cup we will have another bracket competition so that you can try to determine all the winners of all the matches up to and including the final. The Submissions for the competition will start when we have started the Episode Cup voting and will last for as long as the Episode Cup takes. We will then shut down submissions and the Character Cup will start.

Personal Hiatus
I will be off from next Tuesday through to the following Monday as I will be in Dubai for my little sisters wedding. I'll be leaving the site in the more than capable hands of The ODI whilst I'm away. All the various submissions forms will go through to him and if you have any questions please email him direct HERE. The only sections that we won't be updating are the Theories and Fan Fiction although feel free to send them through and I'll post them all on my return.

IMPORTANT NOTE
With Season 4 being cut short due to the writers strike we have decided that the prediction league will run till the end of Season 4 and not as previously reported 16 episodes regardless. However, those people that selected episodes 14,15 and 16 fear not, as if the predictions you made happen in the last episode these predictions will count in your favour.
