Photo: Rihanna Photo After Chris Brown Beating Shown On TMZ

We don't know how they do it, but they did it.

TMZ has acquired the police photo of singer Rihanna taken just moments after her beating by Chris Brown.

The LAPD, seeming to run for cover, also released a statement:

"The LAPD does not and will not release any victim's photos. It's that simple. We have not."

Brown, 19, was arrested for the beating, while the Grammy Awards Ceremony he was supposed to appear at went on - without him. He was released from jail on $50,000 bail.

Rihanna , who turns 21 today, is cooperating with police.

Brown issued a statement last week apologizing, and said he was seeking counseling. He is due in court on March 5.

Nude Photo Of Madonna Sells For $37,500

We know times are tough and people will do anything to raise the rent money, but Madonna seems to have it all figured out.

On Thursday, a naked photograph of the singer, taken when she was only twenty years old, sold at a New York auction for over $37,000. Not bad work, if you can get it.

The singer, at that time known as Madonna Louise Ciccone, was a struggling dancer when she answered a newspaper advertisement looking for a nude model.

The photo was first seen in Playboy Magazine in 1979, and was one of six from the photo shoot that appeared in the magazine; the other five were sold in an auction in 2003 bringing in more than $7,000.

Another photograph sold Thursday for $18,750. In the photo, also seen in Playboy in the 1980s, the singer is wearing sports lingerie, has curly blond hair and a sexy facial expression.

Her last music project was heard in the smash hit movie "The Wrestler" starring Mickey Rourke, Marisa Tomei and Evan Rachel Wood. She wrote and performed the song "Jump" on the film's soundtrack.

Joaquin Phoenix's Strange Letterman Appearance - Video

Wow. If you missed the David Letterman show Wednesday night you missed a very uncomfortable visit by Joaquin Phoenix.

Maybe he was just having an off night or was under the influence of drugs, but it got weird to say the least.

He chewed gum non-stop and then stuck it under Letterman's desk, he answered questions with a simple "yes" or "no", and was less than helpful in his efforts to plug his new movie 'Two Lovers" with Gwyneth Paltrow.

Joaquin seemed to take offense when Dave asked him about his beard, and told the host he was not there to be made to feel weird about it. Ouch. When confused by the audience laughter, he asked the host, "What do you have them on? Nitrous?"

He stared blankly at the host when asked simple questions, and it was rare when you could understand his comments - when he talked at all. He did have one strange admission - he is working on his hip-hop music career. Really?

The interview ended with Dave saying, "Joaquin, I'm sorry you couldn't be here tonight", and apologizing to Farrah Faucet, his admitted worst guest ever - until last night.

Joaquin's new movie, "Two Lovers", is a Brooklyn-set romantic drama about a bachelor (Phoenix) torn between the family friend his parents want him to marry and his beautiful, but volatile, new neighbor. It opens February 13.

He was last seen in the 2007 thriller "Reservation Road" with Jennifer Connelly, Mark Ruffalo, Elle Fanning and Mira Sorvino, where a couple's son is killed at a gas station on Reservation Road, and it changes their life forever.

Alex Rodriguez Tested Positive For Steroids

Seems like some things never change.

Alex Rodriguez tested positive for steroids during his 2003 season, a new report shows.

The New York Yankees player tested positive for two anabolic steroids, and his name appears on a list of over one hundred other players who tested positive for drugs during 2003.

He tested positive for Primobolan and testosterone while playing for the Texas Rangers.

Primobolan, also known as methenolone, is injected or taken orally, and improves strength and maintains lean muscle with minimal side effects.

In a December 2007 interview with "60 Minutes" he denied using steroids or other drugs.

Rodriguez played for the Rangers in 2003, when he won the AL home run title and MVP award. He was traded to the Yankees in 2004. He is drawing a $27 million salary after signing a record $275 million, 10-year contract with New York in 2007.

Christian Bale Erupts On "Terminator Salvation" Movie Set

Remember last year when Christian Bale was arrested for exploding in a fit of anger before his "Dark Knight" premier? Well, it looks like the actor is up to his angry fits again.

A new audiotape has surfaced of Bale on the set of "Terminator Salvation", and it is bad.

It is over five minutes long, and contains explicit language of the actor upset with a DP (Director of Photography) who ruined a scene by walking into the shot.

We're all for a little elite behavior by celebrities, but this goes beyond the norm.

Over and over, the actor yells and screams at the DP, and threatens to walk off the set if he is not fired. You can hear the nastiness in his voice.

After apologizing profusely, the employee is continually asked, "What were you thinking", and "What the hell is your problem".

It was so bad; management sent the tape to the insurance company overseeing the production in case there are ramifications. If Bale walks off the set, the movie is done and a lot of people are out a lot of money. If they can show he acted unprofessionally and walked away without good reason, the insurance company might have a cause to go after the diva for a refund.

You can listen to the audio here

Bale is also working on the films "Killing Pablo", the true story of how the Colombian gangster, Pablo Escobar, was assassinated and his Medellin cocaine cartel shut down, and "Public Enemies", starring with Johnny Depp about the Feds trying to take down notorious gangsters John Dillinger, Baby Face Nelson and Pretty Boy Floyd during a crime wave in the 1930s

"Terminator Salvation" is due for release this May and tells the story of what happens after Skynet has destroyed much of humanity in a nuclear holocaust, and a group of survivors led by John Connor struggles to keep the machines from finishing the job.

Olympic Winner Michael Phelps Photographed Hitting A Bong

It seems that maybe wealth and fame does have the ability to change a person after all.

The outwardly shy and innocent Olympic Gold winner Michael Phelps seems to have a party animal side to his personality.

Ever since he won in China last year, the 14-time gold medal winner has been seen and photographed, in public, bars, universities, and just about everywhere else - getting a buzz on.

Numerous sightings and reports have surfaced of his out of control drinking in VIP rooms and late night parties, and a growing number of comments from those around him seem to paint a picture of someone who is out of control.

The latest problem for the new celebrity is a widely circulated picture of him smoking pot from a bong.

One party crasher who saw his actions told the News of the World: "He was out of control from the moment he got there. If he continues to party like that I'd be amazed if he ever won any more medals again."

Phelps' people are in a panic over the picture; fearing advertisers will dump the swimming sensation. As Olympic officials have vowed to crack down on drug abuse, it could also cost him any chance of competing in the next series of games.

His commercial endorsements are managed by 'Octagon', who deals with big brand companies around the world. They admitted to reporters that the use of pot would be "a major taint" on his career.

Drinking has got him in trouble before. In 2004, at age 19, he received eighteen months of probation for driving while drunk and underage.

He has been on every magazine cover in the free world, hosted Saturday Night Live, appeared on The Colbert Report, Live with Regis and Kathie Lee, The Tonight Show with Jay Leno, Entertainment Tonight and a Barbara Walters special.

He has also tried his luck at series television with guest appearances on Entourage, 24/7 Chicago, The Apprentice and Rome Is Burning.

Time will tell if the star athlete can pull himself out of this mess, or if he will fade away as another lost sole caught up in the world of the rich and famous.
