Hey Dark i was at the LOST auction and ended up winning Dogen's costume, well it showed up today and to my surprise came with his personal effect of which included a necklace. Inside this necklace was a scroll and when unraveled showed hieroglyphic writings which you can see a picture of here.I know LOST pretty well but i don't know the hieroglyphics and i couldn't think of a better person to ask this about. Perhaps you can put this out there to your readers to solve this. Maybe it means something maybe it means nothing either way i thought it was a cool little tidbit to share and id hate to keep any potential new info from the fans, thanks for your time.
